'Twas against my better judgemernt that I agreed to take my wife (Mrs Belm) to the cinema to watch the filmic version. I waited patiently outside with the engine running and sure enough after just 10 minutes Mrs Belm (my wife) emerged ranting in a most foul-mouthed way. I will not repeat the type of language she used, but the non-naughty stuff included "smug", "arrogant", "vacuous" and "bush". As I am now acting editor of The Shouty Villager newspaper and its blog (http://theshoutyvillager,wordpress.com), she asked that I write a strongly-worded article calling for women to attack anyone who says this is a good film.
